“hugs & kisses” in Norwegian woods
Hearts & Souls
Hearts & Souls is a series of anthropomorphic sculptures created by Stockbridge architect and artist Raynor (“Ray”) Mitchell Warner in 2025. Frustrated by how divided we seem to be and the need for universal love in this world, Ray’s work incorporates the heart in every piece and expresses love, joy, movement, music, dance and whimsy in single and multiple groupings.
These forms can be fabricated from Ray’s drawings by computer-aided cutting machines at any scale… from life-size sculptures to jewelry.
One variation on this work is the “Sock-it-thru-me” series. These pieces, designed at a smaller scale with figures depicting sports players can take on active game-play, like “corn hole”. In this game you throw a sock bean bag through a hole in the sculpture to score points.
