Insurrection Series
Following January 6, 2021 and the attack on the Capital and democracy, Ray created a series of sketches in his notebook with the intent to create more finished pieces in the future. Poor health prevented that from happening. In 2025, while working on his sculpture series Ray decided to take his sketches and make collages with newspaper headlines of the insurrection.
