These two pieces plus the “Ump” can be made into game similar to “Cornhole”. The name of the game is “Sock-it-thru-me” where you fill a sock full of beans and throw it through the hole.

It can also be played as a table-top game with smaller size pieces called “Flick-it-thru-me”.
